Why not just use simple english; why not just use the words "deleted files"?
Simple, clear, unambiguous, concise, and, langauge platform independent (as in
all the variants of english). 

I don't know why software developers have to make a conscious effort to avoid
using simple, clear, unambigous, english, that avoids jargon and
location-dependent slang.

Now, since you are working with KDE, when are they going to bring out a version
of KDE, that works, unmodifed, and does not need recompiling, with RH6.2, and,
which does not have the gigasecond bug?
