Just out and about finding some images for this 'ere security speil... this 
_was_ a 'doze box, but could almost as easily have been Linux:

Windows defacements seem to outnumber Linux at roughly 2:1, implying that 
Linux+Apache wins over Windows+IIS for security at the rate of 4:1 (since 
roughly twice as many Linux servers). After Windows is out of the picture, 
the defacement rate is approximately the same proportion as the 
installations, ie, 6x as many Linux as FreeBSD == roughly 6x as many 
defacements.
