Speaker: Daniel Baldoni, LcdS Pty. Ltd.
Topic: Contingency Planning

Daniel has two degrees (in Mathematics and Computer Science), both from
Curtin University. After picking up a PGradDipCompSci, he worked at
the School of Computing (Curtin) for about 5 years as a programmer
ans systems admin. He then went to work for the FPA as a sysadmin
/ dbadmin. In August 1999, he formed his own one-man consultancy.

The talk will cover many aspects of contingency planning. Exactly
which aspects will depend upon audience participation. Judging from
Daniels previous talks there will be plenty of this.

Aspects of Contingency Planning - *NOT* just disaster recovery.
        What to protect?
        What to protect from?
        Risk analysis.
        Common mistakes/shortcomings

Daniel has a long experience as a systems administrator. His previous talks
covered aspects such as flooded machine rooms (woops) and were most enjoyable.
