schools in poorer regions.

As a side point, I was in an education tutorial this morning in which we were 
brainstorming how a school might improve its social justice strategies. 
Someone suggested more access to information technology. I suggested using 
free software. Two points with regard to the response:
1. everyone thought free software was a good idea;
2. no one knew what free software was.

Looks like Australian schools have a bit of catching up to do. =)
