What are the beeps? Normal POST, or a beepcode
Long-short-short-short
then boot as normal? If its the latter, your BIOS is failing to init the
video for some reason - perhaps the S3 is somehow interfering with the
TNT2 (IRQ conflict or maybe even nasty IO range grabbing stuff). Try
different slots as Greg suggested, and have another look through the
BIOS for where to set which bus is primary vga on boot.
If you're not getting the BIOS beepcode for "no vga found, booting
anyway" as above but the normal "POST OK" one, yet you still don't get
video, its more likely that something is confusing your primary video
card (usually the AGP one but picked by BIOS) and causing it to fail
_without_ reporting failure to the BIOS. In that case, try another PCI
card - can't think of anything else, really.
