[plug] Intenet banking and Linux browsers

As I said to Jacqueline McNally last night at the PLUG meeting, despite
moves by the anz to exclude Netscape and Linux users from using the
Internet banking facility, requiring MS IE and Java (the anz requires the
equivalent of the use of a rusty syringe, after someone else has been
using it, with unidentifiable stuff in it...), I have (by chance
experiment) been able to use Opera 6.02 running on Linux (RH 7.3), to use
the Internet banking facility.

The only problem is that I cannot print (apart from not yet being able to
print from the computer on which I was doing this), with a displayed error
message stating that the page was not fully downloaded. This happened with
both the "print" and the "print version" icons. I am assuming that this
was an error message (advice that it did not work), rather than a warning
message (possible problem, but works anyway).

Has anyone else been able to use the anz Internet banking facility, with
Opera 6.02 on Linux? If so, were they able to print okay?

The Opera installation shows as not having Java installed, and I had
selected to not include Java, when I downloaded and installed it.
