Thanks Tony. :)

I'll be there for tonight's LCA-Helper's and I assume the next PLUG workshop is next monday with it being the 4th monday and all? Should be good timing as EverythingLinux assure me Woody will finally be in store on wednesday and hence should get to me on thursday if Express Post lives up to it's name and I'm sure I'll have a few problems by monday with it. (coming from using Mandrake in the past, but I did give Gentoo a whirl in a VM in the background at work which was quite a learning experience).

Cheers!
Jason

Well from a PLUG point of view we meet twice per month.

The second Tuesday of each month is a "seminar" meeting held at TAFE.
The fourth Monday of each month is a "workshop" meeting held a UCC.

The seminar's are slighly more formal, we arrange a speaker ans they give a
formal presenatation on a topic. the August meeting was Leon Brooks talking
about LTSP (Linux Terminal Server Project). The next meeting wil be Michael
Hunt on OSS in the 3rd world, held at central TAFE on Tuesday 10th Sept.

The workshop's are very informal, people are encouraged to brin along thier
computer and have a bunch of geeks try to fix the problems.

via the various LCA-* mailing lists.

You'd be more than welcome and any (or all) of the above.
