I simply use the software suspend patch in my kernel..
echo "1 0 0" > /proc/sys/kernel/swsusp
and it suspends to disk.

I do have to exit win4lin first though as that will not suspend.
Well, it suspends but dies on restore. Rest of the system goes fine.
