[plug] dvd ripping

Just out of interest, I searched for dvd rip for linux.

There is a project called dvd::rip which is a very tidy gui, lots of options 
etc.. It looks like it does the vcd/svcd/divx:)/ ogg_vorbis/mp3 rips, can 
calculate frame rates for filesizes, and lets you play with subtitles and 
stuff.. It is also out there as a .deb...

Best thing is that with linux you can cluster a few machines and do it 
_really_ quickly.

Freshmeat or http://www.exit1.org/dvdrip/ has the info.

ANOTHER reason to stay on windows gone..
