I also had this problem with iinet a while ago. The solution was to ring 
support, tell them they were kicking me off repeatedly after short connection 
times with low data transfer rates, listen to them tell me they didn't kick 
me off and I should lower my connection speed, point out that I had logs 
showing an unexpected cutoff which comes from the server and then wait a few 
hours while they fixed it. They definitely assured me it wasn't their fault 
but they did fix the problem.
