Yup.  I used to be treasurer in MINCS (Murdoch Computer Society) back when I
had more time, and there are a couple of ideal spots around campus.  The one
they use for LANs at the moment is a huge workshop room,
powerpoints/tables/chairs everywhere, and close parking, down in E&H.

Still the same deal.  I believe there is a cost involved now as well, but
I'd have to check up on that.
