#1 son (2.5yo) clicked on xkill and then the taskbar one day. It worked (ie, 
killed the taskbar).

If you have no preferences that you love (e.g. Konqueror bookmarks) you can 
try rm -rf ~/.kde, then start KDE. There's quite a lot of stuff in there, 
though, so mv'ing it to a backup (mv .kde .kde.no-taskbar) might be safer.
