[plug] Redmond / Lycoris Linux

Hiya all,

Has anyone seen/heard/know anything about the above?  Read a rave article 
at - http://www.extremetech.com/print_article/0,3428,a=23186,00.asp  and 
info from the article points to a home page at - http://www.lycoris.com/
I plan to research it a bit more then maybe get keen and get a download 
happening from 
http://www.planetmirror.com/pub/redmondlinux/iso/  (binary/disk one is 505Mb).
I would like to hear more about this one, especially considering the recent 
'Lessons in Linux' thread.
