I remember something about a PCI power module that was required for this
ASUS board. I don't recall what the function of it was, but it came with
the motherboard.
I don't have all the details, but you might do a search on

In which case you may need a dummy plug if using only one supply: have you
looked up the board at the manufacturers website/read the manual?
If you cant find it, post details here and someone may recognise it.
