So where do I find that out? FYI it's a Pentium 100 on
a fairly normal clone motherboard from that era. I
don't particularly want to upgrade it as it's our
internet gateway, so 'tis not worth it...

Yes, I know. I did go so far as to compile my own
suitable kernel, and to start rewriting my firewall
rules (easy enough), but I came unstuck on ipac-ng. I
use ipac for traffic accounting, and several of the
(most important) rules contain destinations of "!
192.168.0.0/24" (inverse of our subnet). I couldn't
work out how to do it with ipac-ng, and the
documentation doesn't seem to specifically mention
it... anyone know how it's done? It works fine with
ipchains / ipac.

The one at work is an ISA (in a 486), which also
works. Might have to...
