[plug] name resolution failure

Hi,

I've been have trouble with ftp name resolution. I get this error:
Looking up <domain>
Cannot look up hostname <domain>: Temporary failure in name resolution

I can use my browser to go to public ftp sites, but cannot use 
authenticated login ftp. I upgraded to Sid last week and this may be the 
first sign of trouble so far. Where do I look to start debugging and 
hopefully fixing this problem?
