[plug] KDE en_GB i18n question!

Ok, I'll bite: a i18n related question. Theres a whole lot of related
language setting variables, inter-related programs that all require
correct setting for spellchecking to work. Evolution is a case in
point. Get a wrong setting such as an en sneaking in amongst the en_GB
and it does not work. Is there a comprehensive list of language/spell
checking prerequisites? e.g., aspell, pspell etc language variants, and
the obvious environment variables from my 'set':
LANG=en
LANGUAGE=en_GB:en
LC_COLLATE=en_GB
LC_CTYPE=en_GB
LC_MESSAGES=en_GB
LC_MONETARY=en_GB
LC_NUMERIC=en_GB
LC_TIME=en_GB

Any others?

To my mind, a system such as this is really asking for trouble! - KISS
is needed.
