Mike,
The problem is I cannot see anything when the DVD is mounted in Xcdroast, yet
I can the contents if I'm using say konqueror or if I'm looking at the
contents from a term session.
So I know the drive is mounted and working.

As for tools, from my desktop (KDE) I like to have a utility that can show me
the settings, int, io, etc in a gui interface (trying to get away from the
MS way, but some drugs are harder to kick).

Thanks

Jon
