I've just done this trawl myself, with little luck.
Yes, in my proffession I'm a Web Guru, so I know my HTML raw, but sometimes
I just want a WYSIWYG to belt out simply formatted docs - to the point
where I've caught myself wishing for Frontpage2k for Linux! Argh!!

I've settled on Mozilla 0.9.9 Composer, but I still don't like some of the
things it does with my code, so I write it up in a temp HTML file, then
chop the guts out and shove it in another doc where I've properly defined
headers, footers, CSS, etc...
