Linux beats Windows in cost study

COMPANIES that pick Linux rather than Microsoft save tens of thousands of 
dollars a year, a study shows.

Cybersource, an IT service provider that offers Linux, Unix, TCP/IP and 
Windows solutions, examined the total cost of ownership of Linux and 
Windows systems.
