[plug] Resizing software raid

There's a tool called raidreconf at
http://unthought.net/raidreconf/

which should allow you to add an additional drive to
a software raided array, and restripe in place.  
It does come with dire warnings about data destruction etc etc,
but it might do what was asked for earlier today.
