The PLUG web/mailserver (that this mailing list runs on) is an Axil 320
(which is a Sun Sparc clone) running Debian for Sparc (and it was
previously a Sparc Classic running Debian) and it is just as easy to
install and maintain as an i386 Debian server.

Debian 3.0 (Woody) now comes with a 2.4 kernel, although it installs 2.2
by default. Specify "bf24" at the boot prompt to install with a 2.4
kernel.
