Damn.. and I thought I was having bad luck.
I'm actually surprised that more of ours haven't died yet, considering
they aren't all in offices that are well air conditioned and that quite
a few people around here were born in tents (i.e. can't close the door
after themselves properly - especially in the weather we've been having
lately - being in Broome). Three year warranty on the entire PCs though.
Its actually handy to know about the IBM SCSI drives and HP using them
as well, because I'm looking at getting either a couple of new IBM or HP
servers here soon. I was already thinking of buying the full machine(s)
minus hard disks and buying something like Seagates for them separately.
Whilst we are on the topic, does anyone have any suggestions in terms of
SCSI hard disks at the moment, which ones are currently reliable?
I've had previous success with Quantums and Seagates, but things change
(like IBMs actually being good previously).
/ Ben
