There are a few such idea's floating around for KDE as well at the moment but instead of being a stright copy of XP they are trying to be a little more innovative. It will be interesting to see some actual code for that sort of thing that's for sure.

I thought I was looking at a screenshot of KDE for a moment there as they are using the default Crystal icons from KDE 3.1...
