XP like desktop themes such as the KDE in Lycoris is kinda a cheap but
effecetive way to get Windows 98 users dualbooting into Linux.

Sometimes they even spend more time in Lycoris than in Windows 98.
Especially when 98 breaks or becomes so slow it is unusable.

Walmart are selling PC's Lycoris and Lindows on their website.

Lycoris can sometimes also be slow. What would be cool would be a cross
between gentoo and lycoris that you build first in the lab then image to
all the machines with the same hardware (say if you were massproducing a
certain model)

Then users could install all their other wanted apps with something that
would be a cross between Lindows click'n run and apt. They could also be
asked if they want fast install (binaries) or optimise for their system
- experts only (compile from source emerge)
