Firstly, man does my hurried spelling suck...
Secondly, the best thing you can do for swap partitions is locate them
in between the /var and /home, or if you must, in between /boot and /
The idea is that you should spend as little time moving the heads from
data to swap to programs and so on...
You should see how well it speeds up the slower machines or those with
slower hard disks like laptops
