[plug] Trying to install KDE on Debian

It means pretty much what it says. Apt/dpkg stores backups of deb files to avoid
bombing the net everytime a deb file is needed (Ie if you apt-get remove widget,
and you still have the widget deb file, next time you apt-get install widget,
it'll use the local one rather than sucking 5meg over your modem).

If this gets fullup ,I believe you can nuke the contents of that directory to
free space for more. This makes sense particularly if you have the CD's so
bandwidth aint a concern. 

However , before doing that, can anyone else confirm this. (Oh btw , beware of
some bad packages with the KDE install, I had some awfull probs before with
busted conflicting packages. It's probly not the case with the CD install)
