My first impressions (clean install - Workstation) were one minor bug in
the install when setting the root password. The box came up but I
couldn't click into it to type anything, clicked back and then next
again and it worked. One other problem was I browsed our Samba server
fine from the desktop and accessed my home directory, but OpenOffice
locked up badly when trying to double click on an Excel file to open. I
kill -9'ed it and opened OpenOffice and did a file>open on the same file
and it opened fine.

One thing I'm curious about, is there a task manager type application
for X? As that would help a hell of a lot for newbies when they had a
program stuff up, because opening up an xterm and doing a ps and kill -9
isn't something a newbie would exactly be capable of. I didn't see
anything from my brief look at the standard RH desktop.
