[plug] [OT] Parse an XML file with PHP

I've been trying to find an easy way to parse an XML file in PHP (I'm want 
to make my own basic CMS), I just want the data out and accessible like 
post/get data (if possible), I wont need DTD/validating, this is probably 
wishful thinking but I don’t see any point re-inventing a wheel that has 
probably been invented already, if anyone on this list has seen anything 
like that, can you please give me some links or code.
