If your problem is trying to get a linux installation working on an old M/B
_and_ you are not a 'nubee' disregard the rest of this mail:-)

I run a P100 with 64meg and an old 20speed cdrom so is possible. It's my 
print server.

I can give you a working install cd (not RHat) if that will help.
 
My comment regarding RH8.0 comes from a long series of RH releases suffixed
with .0 that were problematic and replaced rapidly with .2 releases,so if
RedHat8 is what you want ask around the list for RH8.2 which was stable. 
My copy is long gone.
