[plug] start-up messages

Hi List,

        I recently got my machine back from 
the repairer after having motherboard problems. It now gives two startup 
messages that are new --  ie

      Ultra DMA Mode-5 S.M.A.R.T. capable but disabled

and

   Sec Master Drive -- ATAPI incompatable
   press F1 to resume


I am sure that I didnt need to press any keys to boot the machine before.
What do these messages mean?


it is a Athlon -- cpu MHz         : 1050.034
