Very freaky. Even more so as it fixed the problem.
Although I didnt purge apt, I just reinstalled apt-file which I found on
a cd laying around. But it still worked.
whats even more strange were both Ryan.

Are we alone in the universe. 
Or is it just another conspiracy.
