I could do with one of those for a firewall / gateway box...

Arrggh! Only one PCI slot. That nearly doubles the price for what I want
- I'd need to buy a dual-port NIC like a dual EEPro/100 at $500. Ouch.

If I see a small C3 based machine with two onboard NICs and one PCI, or
one onboard NIC and two PCI, I'll buy it in a second.

Why 3 NICs?

          [ ]-----ADSL-----
--LAN----[firewall]
          [ ]---802.11b----

I won't even consider having the 802.11b connected to the LAN except via
the firewall - ditto the ADSL link. So it's 3 NICs for me. *sigh*.
