[plug] KDE problem

Hi all,
I've got a couple of Redhat 9 machines running KDE desktop and have the
following problem. If I try and fire up konqueror as su ie "kdesu
konqueror" then it bails out complaining that /tmp/mcop-user is not
owned by the user(su). If the /tmp/mcop-user file is deleted then
"kdesu konqeror" works as expected, however the next time the normal
user tries to fire up konqueror it wont start because the file
ownerships/groups for the newly written /tmp/mcop-user file are now root
root.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? I tried google and it sems others
have the same experience but I havent found any good solution.
( The KDE website is down in some protest at the moment too)
