I was subcontracting to an ISP in Sydney where the guy who owns it (and
does all the tech stuff) was completely from a windows background. One
day he got sick and tired of Windows crashing and getting viruses all
the time, so he looked around for alternatives. He then found linux and
thought the sun shone from Linus' arse. So almost immediately he paid
someone (me) to set him up a linux server to run everything for his
ISP...but he doesn't know how to use linux except for in an X GUI
environment. This has forced me to write web based scripts for him to
be able to configure every single thing on his machine with a web
browser and point 'n' click.
This is clearly a *bad* case for advocacy...the guy drives me
absolutely insane!!
