I hope I'm heading in the right direction here. Because you mentioned
you were running a 2.4.18bcf2 kernel, my first thought is for you to
apt-get install another kernel that is "targetted" for your computer
(Debian uses "kernel-image-2.4*" packages for this). However, I'm not
sure how you're supposed to choose which kernel package to install.
Someone else might know which kernel package is best for your Athlon
1800+ mb A7N266-VM.
