*grumble*

| With regards to all-keyboard copy and paste, I prefer at times because
| it takes just as long to reach over the the mouse, position the cursor,

Yes. I use all-keyboarded (ha! it's my message and I'll use keyboard as a
verb if I want to) copying on those occasions where it is more
convenient - like, say, just about all the time when I'm using vim ;-)
But copying between multiple windows generally involves using the mouse
anyway, and I'd rather not use a method that requires extra hand-hand
coordination. (Hmm, could that be another point against a buttonless
mouse? It would require similar feats of manual dexterity to playing a
piano. ... I wonder if anyone has used a foot pedal as an input device
to a computer? Googling for "foot pedal keyboard" produces a lot of
piano-related stuff and as well as:

Apparently it's baked. And "foot pedal mouse" came up with another
interesting-ish page:

Most peculiar.)
