One thing that can be done for a speedy unsubscription is to pop along
to the list's website, look down the bottom for some sort of place to
enter your old address, and subsequently ask for your password to be
sent to you again:

There was some talk of having multiple admins, to assist in the general
backlog of admin requests, so you might have luck.
