Mandrake uses SuperMount, which usually makes this a non-issue. Unfortunately, 
when SuperMount does stuff up (on maybe 5% of machines, occasionally) it can 
be a serious (reboot to fix) pain in the rear. Well fixed by 9.1, I think.
