Just a shory antecdote. A friend of mine has just recently switch from his
very stable Linux box of seven years to Windows 2000 "Advanced Server"!! He
swore that active directory and the new user friendliness of Windows 2000
was better and more convenient. It was literally up 10 minutes when all the
network shares, operability and files were corrupted by the aforementioned
Nimdia (is that how you spell it?) virus. Two days of work later it has
McAfee grinding away on it.
Beware the box set!
