I'm having a problem I don't understand with netenv on my laptop. I installed 
netenv whilst installing debian a couple weeks back and it worked instantly 
(ie: with my home server configuration) so I was quite pleased. However, when 
I tried to connect it to another network using a different config it didn't 
worked. I checked the configs repeatedly and they seemed correct. Then I 
discovered that the ethernet wasn't working with on my laptop at all with the 
new configs.

The main difference between the two networks is that at home I'm using dhcp (I 
have dhclient installed on the laptop) and not on this other network. I'm not 
sure if this makes any difference though. Does anyone have any tips or some 
tests I can run to suss out this problem?
