I remember a little while ago reading on IBMs site that they recommended 
you run their disks at no more than 333 hours per month. Thats 333 out 
of a total 672 hours on a 28 day month. Can't comment on WD - I havnt 
been through many, but when I have, they have been reliable. And as for 
Seagate, they are very good. Just don't go IBM. Too many IBM disk corps 
on the warranty out-tray to even consider buying one at this stage.
