[plug] Debian Newbie Guide/Tips

Are there any up-to-date Debian Newbie Guides out there, aimed at people 
moving from, say, Red-Hat to Debian?

Y'know, a list of tips like using apt-cache search, setting up 
/etc/apt/preferences, using http://www.apt-get.org/, using feta build to 
build Unstable stuff in Stable, etc...

Something to show you can have a Woody/stable system, plus the frills on 
demand.
