[plug] CUPS and Shared Network Printer

Through the KDE interface I tried to set up a printer on a windows machine. 
I got as far as installing it when it asked me to select the driver for it. 
It is a Brother Laser printer HL-1440 and as there where no drivers for it 
that I could see I select a lower model in the same family that should be 
compatible. It then asked me for a resource password and user name. I tried 
many users including Power Users, Administrators and guest but it kept 
denying access. I havn't yet had time to google for drivers but I can't 
understand the password bit. I can connect fine when i boot into w2k with 
my normal user name and password. I am using Deb.
All help would be appreciated.
