[plug] re: removing apps

If an application was installed using CPAN (e.g cpan> install Mail::SpamAssassin); how would I go about uninstalling it?
I can see I have two (2) versions of Perl on my system (5.6.1, site_perl and 5.8.0, vendor_perl) I want to also uninstall 5.8.0.  Not sure how I got both on this system but they are causing installation problems.
