I've got a server that is freezing (locking) after a days running.  When I have a look at /var/log/messages there is nothing there (e.g no indication of any errors).  The server is still runs, it just trying to access it via ssh or even from keyboard (as keyboard is locked) prevents me from seeing what is the problem.  Seeing how the keyboard is locked and the monitor shows nothing (goes into a locked state with a blank screen. I at first think it may be hardware related. But unfortunately I'm not sure which component.  When I restart the server everything is fine for the next day.  This server is has the following:
IBM x235
4 x 73GB SCSI U320 Drives
2 GB memory
2 x 10/100/1000 NIC
ServerRAID -5i Raid controller.
Red Hat Linux 8.0
MySQL 4
PHP 4
