[plug] Optimized Distro
Weirdo

I have just compiled my kernel, optimized for my Celeron 466 on a Debian r0
system. I know that Debian packages are compiled so that they will run on a
386 up. I like the Gentoo approach of compiling every thing so that it is
optimized. I don't know how it resolves dependences though. I also know
that Debian has src packages although I don't think they are on CD.
I am looking for a distro where I can optimized my packages but I like the
apt-get in Debian. It would need to be like Debian but with large
components compiled from source. I don't know if this can be done with
Debian considering I am on 56k.
Please help me ether get apt-get source working with details on getting
source on cd or some thing else.
Thanks
Tim
