Yes you are right and /dev/hda2 is /. The original listing I mention was from the RH installer. After looking at /etc/fstab I've marked all the settings down.

OK, where are you getting that list from? If it's an installer, they
can't read the /etc/fstab of your existing system and can't tell you
what partiton was what. So most likely '/dev/hda2' is / and you werent'
using a '/boot' partition (if your machine is vaguely modern this isn't
an issue).
If you want to confirm, have a look at your /etc/fstab under your
current system and see what it says. Write it down so that you can keep
track of what is what if you need to, /then/ start the install.
