OK, but the separator used to separate the version and pkgname should 
not be allowed in the pkgname. So instead maybe use underscores to 
separate version and pkgname - whatever. So long as they'd chosen 
something that was easy to use with shell tools like awk and cut. Debian 
got this right with dpkg.
