[plug] Mailman & Apache Authentication

Is it possible to use Mailman user details for Apache authentication? ie; have 
a password protected web area, using E-mail addresses as the username, and 
passwords, from a Mailman list.

Ok, so it's possible - but is it feasible? ^_^
Is there a module I can plug in with a few config directives and away we go?
